Milly loved her grandparents’ home. She had so many happy memories here and now there was going to come to an end since her mother wants to sell the house. Valerie who has been out of her daughter’s life since she was a child comes back now only to have her evicted from the only home she and her family knows. With the news that Valerie hands her a court order that Milly had two weeks to leave. With her husband Cole on the road it was all up to Milly to not only find a place to live but to pack and move also.Jason her next door neighbor was a help. Milly had known Jason since high school and he was good friends with both her and Cole. The children called him “Uncle Jason “ and he was a welcomed male figure since Cole had to spend so much time on the road. But it was odd how Jason after Milly had moved suddenly showed up at her new apartment stating her had moved across from her. It was Milly who began to feel Jason was stalking her. When he approached her proclaiming he loved her and would be a good husband for her Milly realizes she had to set him straight.
Milly had found faith thanks to her step-mother Carolyn who had prayer sessions. First it was the shocking news of Valerie having her move and then the devastating news that a family member had stage four cancer that made Milly begin to question her faith and why was God doing this to her. It was after Carolyn’s passing that Valerie changed her mind about the house. She began to draw herself close to Milly and even had her, Cole and the children move back into the house. It was as if Milly’s prayers were answered and Carolyn and grandma were looking down at her smiling

Great read! If you're looking for a clean Christian fiction book then this is definitely for you. I really hope there is a sequel to this!
Good, clean Christian read about a family experiencing loss and turmoil and just how much Millie is going to need to lean on her faith to pull herself and her beloved family from the depths of despair.
Skip this one. I picked this up when it was offered for free. It is very melodramatic and has too much packed into it for a short story. The story is not believable. It is also not that well written.
I just finished Milly's Promise Land this book is clean has good charector's it keeps you interested, it has a lot happening to make this a book, one you don't want to put down. I would recommend it to friends and family. I hope to see more like this in the future.
